Main changes in the 0.3.10: Ship control and progression

Announcement

Wanderers,

The changes introduced in the 0.3.10 version do not just affect specific systems but also the general feel of the ships, especially those available in the packs and at the very start of the game.

The ship from the “Tank pack”, has been reworked: it is now more powerful, with additional blocks and improved maneuverability. The ship is now more versatile and combat efficient, allowing you to tackle various gameplay situations more confidently.

It is also important to note that this ship is not the only one affected by the changes. The general improvement of maneuvering engines makes piloting all the ships in the game much more smooth. The ships are now more responsive, the maneuvers are precise, and the battles are more dynamic. The change makes every ship, including those from the packs, more enjoyable to control and brings out their capabilities.

In addition, all ship packs include credits. This is particularly important in light of the changes to the economy: you can now use credits to purchase common modules and weapons. This allows you to quickly acquire basic equipment as needed and customize your ship to suit your playstyle.

Starter ships have also been improved: in addition to increasing their maneuverability, their survivability has also gone up. The updated “Nova” cabin now provides a significant bonus to the ship’s overall durability through a modifier that substantially reduces collision damage. As a result, starter ships are now not only easier to control but also significantly more resilient in battle, ensuring that your first hours in the game are more comfortable and your introduction to the core mechanics is smoother.

The changes to the economy are also quite notable. You can now exchange credits for the common modules and weapons in the workshop. This change makes it easier to build basic ships, increases the value of currency, and opens up more opportunities to experiment with equipment.

If you haven’t launched the game in a while, now is the perfect time to come back and experience the difference.
