Changes of version 0.1.19

Wanderers! We have prepared the first major update based on your feedback and suggestions following the beta testing. We’ve implemented a series of QoL improvements that fix bugs and optimize the gameplay.

Gameplay:

  • 🤝 Fixed a bug that caused some of the containers to not drop any loot.
  • Changed the drop chances of the recipes:
    • Common: increased the chance
    • Uncommon: slightly increased the chance
    • Rare: decreased the chance
  • The main missions’ rewards now provide enough resources to complete subsequent missions for weapon production and cabin upgrades.
  • Destroyed turrets now drop loot.
  • AI-controlled ship pilots have been briefed on how to safely leave hangars.
  • Optimized the spawn of NPCs on the map at the start of combat.
  • 🤝 Added the ability to use consumables when playing with a controller.

Graphics:

  • Updated the appearance of the hangar floor.
  • Improved visual effects on maps.
  • Updated 3D models displayed in item cards for a number of resources.
  • The “Shredder” pilot received a new uniform that meets the current fashion standards.
  • Fixed the model of mining stations on maps.
  • Improved the textures of the “Sentinel” type NPCs.
  • Fixed the effects of the Gate on the “Antaeus’ station” map.
  • Improved the textures of space stations on maps.
  • Improved the animation of opening hacked containers.

Descriptions and texts:

  • Fixed errors in the descriptions of “Emergency acceleration,” “Polished hull,” and “Thirst for speed” abilities.
  • Fixed errors in mission descriptions.
  • Fixed errors in texts in the assembly mode.
  • Fixed a bug that caused incorrect display of progress in completing item collection missions in the battle log.
  • The error message that appears when attempting to copy a cabin in the assembly mode now more accurately reflects the cause of the error.
  • 🤝 Added a hint about the mechanics of dragging items in the hold.
  • Fixed an error in the Battle Pass missions progress entry in the battle log.

Interface and HUD:

  • Changed interaction with hackable containers: now it is more apparent that a container can be hacked.
  • Fixed interface bugs in the “Missions” window.
  • Fixed the display of filters in the “Storage” tab.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the mission selected in the “Missions” tab via the Tab menu during combat from being marked as active in the “Map” tab.
  • Fixed bugs that caused issues with closing various windows; added the necessary “Close” buttons.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the Gate opening timer to disappear when the player is in a rescue pod.
  • Added a loading indicator to the starting screen.
  • Changed the display of the credits balance in the “Missions” tab.
  • Added the “Shots in a salvo” parameter for multi-charge rockets.
  • Fixed a bug that caused incorrect display of markers in the HUD: they no longer show up on top of the crosshairs.
  • The dialog boxes that allow you to select the amount of resources now have 50% of the maximum selected by default.
  • Removed the “Players” tab in the debriefing window.
  • Fixed a bug that caused missions to overlap in the Tab menu.
  • Improved the display of missions in the “Missions” tab; added backgrounds for missions.
  • Improved container icons
  • Fixed a bug that caused incorrect display of parts and modules in the “Levels” tab of the player’s profile.
  • Added a notification that is displayed in case of maintenance.
  • Added the starting logos when launching the game.
  • Added a button for bug reports.
  • Improved the display of locked parts’ functions in the ship assembly interface.

Sound:

  • Updated sounds in ship assembly mode.
  • Fixed the flying-by sounds of heavy kinetic weapon projectiles.
  • Added a sound effect for opening inventory and map in the Tab menu.
  • Fixed a bug that caused incorrect playback of the mission progress sound.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented music from stopping when entering a test flight.
  • Updated the rescue pod sounds: now its ejection can be heard from a greater distance.
  • Improved the sounds in the ship preparation menu: added missing sounds for a number of actions and fixed the sounds of some buttons.
  • Improved the sound effects of the evacuation Gate.

Miscellaneous:

  • 🤝 Fixed bugs that allowed players to sell schematics that were only supposed to be obtained through missions.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed players to obtain modules that are currently not supposed to be in the game.
  • Removed restricted modules from ship blueprints obtained in the Battle Pass.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the duplication of the “Feather” part recipe in the Workshop.
  • Fixed the placement of parts in ship blueprints in the Battle Pass.
  • Fixed a bug that caused incorrect consumable effects when canceling their use.
  • Fixed a bug that caused incorrect Gate effect when reconnecting.
  • Removed the “Craft” button from item cards.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the rescue pod to not react to collisions with loot at high speeds.
  • Fixed a client crash caused by closing the game from the ship assembly menu.

Changes of version 0.1.18

This update is based on your feedback from the first day of the CBT. We’ve made a few quality of life improvements that fix errors and optimize gameplay.

  • Upgrading the module workbench to level 2 now requires fewer resources:
    • Detector: resource requirement reduced from 10 units to 5 units.
    • Spectrometer: resource requirement reduced from 5 units to 2 units; drop rate on the "Moon" map has been increased.
  • In the event of server technical failures, all players will now be evacuated from the sector without losing equipment, loadouts, or cargo hold contents.
  • Server region selection is now available in the hangar’s map selection menu.
  • Several texts and descriptions have been fixed.
